While hiking on the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota I noticed the navigation marks were easy to miss and hard to read. I wanted to create a system that stood out at a quick glance. Staying with colors of the forest and water I designed a series of marks and badges in an effort to help with navigation. This is a conceptual project only and has no direct ties to the trail. I would love to build out the system further and include maps, signage and soft goods.
